A first version in plain words. A reviewed legal text replaces it before launch.
What we keep
Your WhatsApp number and the name you give us. Once you link WhatsApp: your chats and messages, your contacts' names and numbers, groups and their members, and what Tuffy makes for you (tasks, reminders, notes, drafts, what it remembers).
Where it is kept
Each WhatsApp number has its own store, encrypted with its own key. Our account records (your number, your plan) hold no chat content.
Who can read it
Tuffy, to help you. No person at Tuffy.pro reads your chats. The outside companies that do a job for us are listed on Who handles your data.
What you can do
- See what Tuffy remembers, change it or make it forget (the Memory and People pages).
- Tell it to ignore or block a chat (the Chats page).
- Download everything as one file, or delete your account (Settings, Your data). After a delete your data is gone from our live systems within 7 days and from backups within 30 days.
